Late night September 27, 2020

 Hello,

Wow, it has been a while!!!  Over a year.  I don't know how this keeps happening.  Time, it just keeps on ticking, doesn't it.  That's okay though, isn't it?  So many opinions and other people talking all the time online a year really isn't like a year, now is it?  No one misses hearing from me on here.  No one honestly probably realized I wasn't here.  Isn't that crazy?  I guess this blog is more like me just popping in every once in a while to see how I am doing.

How am I doing?  I'm always fantastic.  I am always good.  So what have we missed about me?

We have missed nothing special. I am always first a mother.  I know some people are probably thinking, "well a mother is not who you are," but it really is, and I would not trade it for the world.  If I leave this world and no one ever hears my voice or what I am saying other then my child I am okay with this.  I am happy.

I took some time off knitting to read more this year.  Reading more was nice.  I am still knitting and have knit a lot as well.

Co-vid?  I am essential, no time off. Nothing really changed for me.  I didn't have a big adjustment problem.  I think the zoom meeting were the hardest but after a day or so we adapted.  The online school is great because I get to spend more time with my family and my son has had fantastic teacher who teach because they love it and it is more then a job to them.

I have wrote, took time off from writing(not blogging) and am now picking the pen(and blog) back up some.  For the blog I am unsure how long I am picking it up but I am blogging for the moment.

I guess that is it for tonight though.   I have nothing else to say.

Until next time,

Monday July 8, 2019 Early Morning Thoughts/What Is Right and What Is Easy

Wow,
It's been a minute hasn't it?

This morning I charged up my old Lenovo laptop(this is the highest tech form of computer I have) and I'm trying to get to my blog, but it keeps not directly taking me to so I begin freaking out a little, going to my Facebook page and rechecking my web address making sure I still exist(well that my blog still exist, whether or not I exist is still questionable).  At last though, after much heartache(and attack) I have located my wonderful blog of gossip and I guess as of today am officially back to ranting.

It is 5:50 A.M. my time and most of you guys are probably still sleeping.  I woke up at a beautiful 2:50A.M. this morning.  I love the peacefulness of the world at this time.  Most of you were probably heading to bed or still sleeping, and I guess that is what makes it so peaceful.  There is hardly anyone on the black still roads and the air feels cool and clean.  Nothing but the sound of silence(hehe), the air conditioner and the taps of the keys on my computer.

That's not why I decided to get on here though.  The reason I decided to get on here is because I was driving down the road this morning (dreaming of an Ice Chai Latter), listening to music while conversing and reminiscing with myself in my head when I thought of this clip from Harry Potter(which I have included the youtube link below "What Is Right and What is Easy and hopefully did it correctly.)

What Is Right and What Is Easy(not really any spoilers but if you haven't watched then obviously it is a spoiler)

Professor Dumbledore says, "Dark and difficult times lie ahead. Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy."

I believe we all can relate to this.  In a world that is so focused on ourselves, we have become so self absorbed in what makes us happy we do what we want without really asking the question of is this what we should?  We make regrettable choices(for us who can admit we are wrong) that not only has effects on our lives but everyone around us.  We do not ask is this morally correct because our world is turning into where everyone sets their own morals so everyone's morals differ.  We carry grudges and hold only enough forgiveness for ourselves yet none for those around us.

The world is changing.  As Dumbledore said in fiction, here in life ,"Dark and difficult times lie ahead.  Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy."  In a world where everyone choices easy don't for one second think right will always be easy, because wrong being so easy makes right most of the time hard.  Right leads to growth.  You won't always be right but you continue on the right path instead of saying,"too late, I messed up."

And if you don't know what is right anymore, and you are lost, though  I used an example from Harry Potter as it was what I was thinking of this morning, know there is a right way, a voice that is calling a light in the darkness. Jesus, if you do not know who HE is or want to know more follow this link.  Scroll down to life questions and click on Salvation/Rededication to Christ.and the question,"Why and how should I accept Jesus as my Savior?" will maybe help you find some of the answers you have been looking for and wonder.  I'm not sure who you are but I think God had this post in mind for you(and I felt very convicted to add this paragraph in) and pray if so you will get the understanding and wisdom you need and are searching for.

With that, I hope everyone is having a good morning,

Brittani

P.S.It is now 6:30A.M. and I feel a nap in my near future lol good day

Friday December 8, 2017

Hello Everyone,

So sorry I haven't posted since November it has been a long week.  I am rather thankful for a peaceful Friday night,  Originally I had plans tonight but snow changed them so now I am sitting here(watching Doctor Who of course) and just enjoying a nice night indoors.

It has been such an eventful week.  The very first day of December I had my very first piano recital. I was extremely nervous but I made it through. I played Ode to Joy, Good King Wenceslas, and Jingle Bells.  I messed up and  I improvised.  All in all however, I was proud and happy I went through with it.  The next day I had went to a parade to see my little sister who was in it (in her own car and in a pretty dress) and then my son had a Good News Club Party.  I knit a lot that night. The next day my little boy was sick so I took care of him and knit.  Monday he had boy scouts and a party for selling popcorn.  Tuesday I did something though I can't remember right off hand.  Wednesday I finally learned to complete my first hat.  Yesterday I finished some more knitting.  I of course worked and took care of other things too.  I'm not saying everything I did just pieces.  Today we finally got some snow. Like I said.  Long week and I am so glad for a night in. Though I was looking forward to seeing lights tonight(which was plans changed).   That's an overview of my long week though.  I hope everyone has had a good December so far.

Sincerely,
BLW

Happy Thanksgiving November 21, 22, and 23, 2017

Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry.  I seem to be having trouble posting everyday.  I don't mean to not but I seem to not either way.  Today however is a day to be Thankful and not for a bunch of apologies.

Today I am thankful for....Everything
I am thankful for everything I see.  Today is good.  Not because it is perfect but because I am taking time to see the beauty in small things.  I made my first turkey.  I got to spend time with people I love.  I rested.  I created.  Everything I have done, am doing, and will do seems so beautiful.  I could not see a reason to not be thankful.

November 21: My Computer which I type on
November 22: Tanglewood Christmas lights.  A family tradition for years I am not sharing with my son :)

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving today.

Sincerely,
BLW

November 20, 2017 Today I Am Thankful For...Day 17, 18, 19, 20

Hey Everyone,

I'm sorry it has been a few days since I post.  I was out late Friday night with my mom and sister, came home and spent the rest of the night, next day, and day after sick and bedridden.  I got better about mid-yesterday but was so exhausted and miserable I just skipped out on posting.

Today I am back though and ready to play catch up

Day 17:The Southern Christmas Show
Like I said, I was out late Friday with my mom and sister, and we went to the Southern Christmas Show.  This one is special to me.  I am not thankful for the show in particular as much as I am with the once a year depute that allows me to spend time with my mom and sister.  Going around and looking at all the Christmas stuff and spending time with each other.  This to me is what the season is about, family.  I love the time I spend each year with my mom and sister and it is always something I look forward to.

Day 18: My Health
There is nothing like a few days in bed and being sick to make you very grateful for getting up everyday and having your health.

Day 19:Clean Water
Because there is nothing more refreshing than a glass of clean water.  My cup runs over.

Day 20:Prayer
Knee mail.  I really do believe the only way to stand is on your knees with lifted hands(check out Casting Crowns song Courageous).  When all else fails or everything is great from my highest and my lowest points I know I am never alone.  I talk to my Father through prayer.  I am always connected to Him.  No one can take that away from me.

Again, I am sorry I got behind.  I didn't mean to be down and out.  I hope you guys are enjoying my I am Thankful for... so far.  Hopefully it has inspired or helped you in some way.  I'll see you tomorrow.  I think it's going to be another cold night so I pray you all stay warm.

Sincerely,
BLW

November 16, 2017 Today I Am Thankful For...Day 16

Hello everyone,
What another lovely day it is today.  Then again, everyday is a day isn't it.  Today I would to express my thankfulness for my car.  I have had a good car go bad on my quickly before in the past and to have something to runs, has a working air and heat system, and only needs regular maintenance is really and truly a blessing.  It might not be this car or that car but it is my car and I am so so blessed to have it.  Truly thankful.
Sincerely,
BLW

November 15, 2017 Today I Am Thankful For... Day 15

Hello Again,
Did you know today was National clean your refrigerator out Day?  If not you better get to cleaning lol just kidding.  Today I am Thankful for my refrigerator.  I’ve had a lot of problems with it this last year and have looked at replacements and they are expensive, so today I am so thankful for my refrigerator and that it still works.  It isn’t perfect but it keeps the things I need cold.  For that I am grateful.
Sincerely,
BLW

November 14, 2017 Today I Am Thankful For...Day 14

Hello Everyone,

Getting this one posted a little later than I would have liked tonight.  That’s okay though, sometimes you have to just go with things not planned and the unexpected.

Tonight, I am Thankful For...a good day.

I’m talking about one of those days that isn’t anything extravagant but simple and nice, which makes it wonderful.  Just the small things that happen through out the day that bring a smile to your face.  For me today it was spending a simple day with Family.  And what a wonderful simple day it was.

Sincerely,
BLW

November 13, 2017 Today I Am Thankful For...Day 13

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is having a good November.  Today is World Kindness Day so in makes sense that today I tell you I am Thankful For Kindness.  I mean the deep down kindness of Love.  The willingness to help those you don’t know or someone who is hard to help.  Patience that you wouldn’t normally give.  Real deep down Kindness.  If you haven’t done something kind today already do something you normally wouldn’t.  Take a second to be more than just in a hurry as you order your food, pay for a strangers coffee, see the homeless person on the side of the road as someone cold and hungry(and feed them).  Do something out of the originary.

As a Christian I believe God is Love and we Love because He first Loved is.  To me God is Agape, and that is the truest and purest Love there is.  Today, that is the example I follow.  True Love, God sent His Only Son to die for my sins and loved me despite them.  Today, Love others despite what they’ve done or who they who they are.  Be kind.

Sincerely,
BLW

November 12, 2017 Today I am Thankful For...Day 12 and a Catch Up

Hello Everyone,

Since it is the start to another week I decided to do a catch up on the days I have already done and the days I missed.

Day 1:God the Father
Day 2:God the Son
Day 3:God the Holy Spirit
Day 4:My Son
Day 5:My Best Friend Ken
Day 6:My Family
Day 7:Every Friend I have ever had

and this is where I left off and hadn't been on for a few days, so...

Day 8:A new electric heater to keep me warm at night (it was starting to get real cold)
Day 9: After many years of wishing I could learn to play the piano, I am thankful to being able to learn to play more and more.
Day 10: My Sister's Cat, Hizzy, who is mostly annoying and the most unloving cat I have ever meet, but is also very loving(as long as you don't touch her) and a mean, lean, killing machine(If you are a bug or small critter that is lol).

Then yesterday;
Day 11: Veterans

And then we today;
Day 12:My Home
My house, it is not perfect, and it is very small compared to most, big compared to some, but it is mine.  It breaks more than I can fix most of the time but after a long hard day me and my family come home and we live in it.  It is full of so much love and laughter.  I would not trade the love of my little family and the good times we have for a house that never breaks but we are broken.  Where ever I go I think My Home is where my family is.  And my little home might not be a lot to many but it means the world to me.  I am very grateful for the home God blessed me with and would be sad if I came to it one night and it wasn't there.

Sincerely,
BLW

November 11, 2017 I am Thankful For...Day 11

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are having a good night tonight.  These last few days have managed to just slip on by haven’t they?  This is what I’m always saying, time, and how it can just fly by.  I’m having trouble getting my pictures to upload to blogger so even though I have been getting some(not all) pictures of Sunrises and Sunsets I haven’t posted any in a while.  I haven’t posted anything since November 7, that in which I am sorry.   I have no excuse just been doing other things and need to get caught back up and back on track.

Today, it being November 11, it is Veterans Day, and this is what I am thankful for.  I wake up in the morning and I am free.  I choose if and what I want to eat for breakfast, what I wear, where I live.  I enjoy my freedom to be happy.

So thank you Veterans for your service so we can be free.
I
Sincerely,
BLW

November 7,2017 I am Thankful For...Day 7

Hello Everyone,

*yawns* I’m not sure I’m quit use to the time change yet lol

Okay, to rap up my first week of I am Thankful For...

Day 7, I am Thankful For Friends.

I have come to learn that people come and go out of your life, not always because they want to, sometimes because they must.  Whatever the reason they leave an impression.  Sometimes good, sometimes bad, other times just pure magical.

Whatever the friendship I am so grateful for every friend I have and had.  All my best friends and all my just friends, all of you are in my heart. Friends are people you never forget.   And there are some of you guys I could never ever forget.

Sincerely,
BLW

November 6, 2017 I am Thankful For...Day 6

Hey Everyone,
I’m not posting quit as late as I normally do.  I am hoping to be in bed earlier tonight 😂

Today, I would like to say how I am Thankful For my Family.

I use to get bad anxiety thinking about how I might never get to go the places I want to when I was younger.  I mean some bad anxiety.

Now that I am older though I realize the 7 Wonders of the World live right near me.  I love my family and there is not a place in the world I would trade for them.

My family is always there.  I love spending time with them and am so grateful for every second I get with them.

Sincerely,
BLW

November 5, 2017 I am Thankful For...Day 5

Hey Everyone,

I am so sorry I am so late tonight.  This weekend has just slipped by so quickly.

Today I would like to express my thankfulness for my best friend, Ken.  We have been best friends for almost 10 years now and what a 10 years it has been.  He is most certainly my partner in crime.

I could list all day things I am Thankful about with him but I’m not going to.

He is one of those people you have to know, and no one knows him like me just as no one knows me like him.

My best friend has this kindness about him and it is something so strong it offsets anything bad.  If he has to he would move a mountain to help someone who needs it.

Some people don’t know how to take him, which is fine by me because he is my best friend and so much more.

He means so much to me and I am so thankful for every second he is apart of my life.

Sincerely,
BLW

November 3, 2017 I am Thank for...Day 3

Hey Everyone,
We are at day 3 if I am Thankful for...which I think what comes next is very obvious since God comes in 3, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.  There is so much I still don’t understand and probably won’t understand until by and by.  I could not picture my life without God standing for me.  Even when I am lost I know I am okay because I am never truly lost.

Last year I wrote;

“Today I would like to express my Thankfulness for God the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit was always there from the beginning too.

"And the Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."~Genesis 1:2

The Holy Spirit was promised from the Father after Christ died on the Cross.

"And, being assembled together with them Commaned them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the Promise of the Father, which, Said He, you have heard of Me.
For John truly baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence." ~Acts 1:4-5~

And The Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost.

"2:1)And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2)And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
2:3)And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
2:4) And they were filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other Tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance,"
~Acts 2:1-4~

The Holy Spirit is very special in my life.  I find it hard to explain so I posted mostly scripture.  I am so very thankful for The Holy Spirit and the relationship it plays in my relationship with God.  I'm sorry this is very brief but it is well explained through out the entire Bible.  I just wanted to express my Thankfulness for The Holy Spirit the best I know how,”

November 3, 2017 Sunrises and Sunsets

Hello everyone,

I did manage to get some pictures of the sunrise at different times in different places.  Though the trees are in the way so you can't actually see the sun.  I know, can't wait until day light savings time, when the sun will rise above the trees at a decent time instead of so late lol I get up early.

Here is the pictures of the sunrise though :)  One taken coming home this morning from going out on the hill where the auto auction is, the other taken from a view of the side yard more.

7:26a.m.

8a.m.
And as usual I did not manage to get a picture of the sunset.  By the time I tried it was too far below the trees to see and I wasn't going out yet.  I did however manage to get a beautiful picture of the moon on my way home tonight from running out.  Here it is.

7:40p.m.
I hope you are enjoying these pictures as much as I am taking them.  I think about how I have seen 3 sunrises and not even fully because the sun takes so long to come over the hill, no sunsets, and only the moon one night, in the last 3 days.  How quickly time goes by and you miss small things you really enjoy, right?

Sincerely,
BLW
