November 3, 2017 Sunrises and Sunsets

Hello everyone,

I did manage to get some pictures of the sunrise at different times in different places.  Though the trees are in the way so you can't actually see the sun.  I know, can't wait until day light savings time, when the sun will rise above the trees at a decent time instead of so late lol I get up early.

Here is the pictures of the sunrise though :)  One taken coming home this morning from going out on the hill where the auto auction is, the other taken from a view of the side yard more.

And as usual I did not manage to get a picture of the sunset.  By the time I tried it was too far below the trees to see and I wasn't going out yet.  I did however manage to get a beautiful picture of the moon on my way home tonight from running out.  Here it is.

I hope you are enjoying these pictures as much as I am taking them.  I think about how I have seen 3 sunrises and not even fully because the sun takes so long to come over the hill, no sunsets, and only the moon one night, in the last 3 days.  How quickly time goes by and you miss small things you really enjoy, right?

November 2, 2017 Sunrises and Sunsets

I did manage to miss a picture for today’s sunset but as usual I got the sunrise no problem. It is in the same place but a later time and different day.  It was being very difficult to post but I finally got the picture to go through. Enjoy :)

November 2, 2017 I am thankful for...Day 2

Hey Everyone,

I am back.  Much later than I meant to be again but better late than never.  I was reading my post from last year and really don’t think for today much needs to be added or changed.


So here is what I wrote last year;

“Today I would like to express my Thankfulness for God the Son, Jesus.

Jesus was always there from the beginning.  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." ~John 1:1~

Jesus died for my sins.  He washed me with His blood and made me new.  Only through Him am I Saved.

"Jesus said unto Him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father but by Me.  If you had known Me, you should have known My Father also: and from Henceforth you know Him, and have seen Him." ~John 14:6-7~

Jesus tore the veil and made us one with the Father again.  He died for my sins,  He walks with me daily through all my ups and downs with life.  I have my own personal relationship with Jesus.

The day I accepted Jesus as my Savior.  I was in 5th grade.  I remember sitting in that small church, new in the Faith, accepting Jesus into my life.  I don't remember her name but I remember the woman feeling so blessed that it was her Bible that was used to lead me to the Lord.  Hearing Romans 10:9 for the first time,

"That if you shall confess with your mouth Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be Saved."

I wouldn't understand much for years to come but no matter the roads I crossed I would not give up Jesus and He held onto me because I am His.  He still hold onto me, leading me and letting me run back to Him, because I need Him.  I will always need Him.

Jesus is definitely the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  I am so thankful to have Him leading me through my life.”

November 1, 2017 Sunrises and Sunsets

Hey everyone, 

While I am going My Month of Being Thankful For...

I am also going to try and get a picture of the sunrise and sunset everyday. Today I only got a picture of the sunrise.

These were taken this morning looking up at the cow pastor across my driveway.  I had sat down this evening to try and get a blog entry done and ended up napping with my computer in my hand instead of taking a picture of the sunset. 

This month I am going to try and get a picture, hopefully in more than one location, of the sunrise and sunset, everyday.  Why? Because I am thankful for every sunrise and sunset I see and don't see.  It is just something spectacular and I would like to spend this month enjoying it and taking in its beauty.

November 1, 2017 I am Thankful For...Day 1

Hello Everyone,

I know I am a little bit late today getting this first entry posted but I guess it is better late than never.  I am very talkative tonight and I don’t want to veer too far off subject, so I am just going to dive right in.

Firstly, I would like to express my thanks for God the Father.  I know this is the same place I always start but I could not start my thankfulness anywhere else.  My entire existence is because He made me.  He alone is good. Everything I do I try to do for Him.  I forget sometimes but all I do I pray I do with love and selflessly because else it is in vain.



I went back and read what I wrote last year, I really like it, so I am going to include it in the blog entry too.  It is;

Today I would like to express my Thankfulness for God the Father.

I know everyone out there is not religious or is religious but does not believe the same as me.  Which I am not here to push or judge anyone, however, I am here to express what I am thankful for, so please do not be negative to me and I will not be negative to you.  It is always nice to get to know one another and what is important to each other.

I am ever so thankful for God the Father, Who sent His Only Son to die for my sin.

The Bible says,
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life.  For God sent not His Son into the World to condemn the world; but that the world though Him might be Saved." ~John 3:16&17

I believe this to be so beautiful and true love (Agape).  The wages of sin is death and God sent His only Son to save us, to take our place so we could live with Him forever and no longer be separated.  I feel the weight of my sin everyday and the only thing that lifts this sin is the Love that God sent here to die for me.  God is Good all the Time, and All the Time God is Good.

Romans 10:9 instructs, "That is you shall confess with your mouth Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be Saved."

I choose to believe and am so Thankful for God the Father and all He has done in my life.

God is more than just an impact on my life it is the reason for being.  He is the reason I know how to be Thankful and blesses me so much.  My cup over flows and I am truly thankful.

November 1, 2017 Happy November

Happy November,
It is once again the month of Thanksgiving.  This year I had thought about not doing my month of Thankfulness. I was thinking how I didn’t want to be reputative because I am very thankful for a lot of the same things.  Today (October 31, 2017) however, sitting in the everlasting line at the school house to get my son and privately talking to God I came to the realization of how important it is to be thankful and set time aside to be thankful.  We tend to forget that being so busy and not taking the time, however small of time that is, can cause a bad condition of the heart, greed. So this month I am going to do my Month of Thankfulness because I can be thankful for the same things in different ways and different things in small ways.  Once again I am looking forward to taking time out to blog and share small moments with you guys I normally on share with myself.  I hope you guys enjoy my entries and hopefully it impacts your life in a positive way somehow.

Good Morning,

Unless you are reading this and it is no longer morning, in which case Good Whatever Time of Day it is.

For me, it is morning and a beautiful morning at that.  The sky is a lovely blue and it has finally got up to 40 degrees.  My little man is asleep and the world is peaceful.  My little sister's cat(which has seemed to take up a permeant residence at my house) is sitting in the window sun bathing.  The only sound being made right now is the clicking of the keys as I type(and what a soothing sound that is).
